Ah Seng Teo Chew Minced Meat Noodle: Mee Pok

Ah Seng Teo Chew Minced Meat Noodle serves minced meat and fishball noodles with a choice of noodles. The mee pok dry version, shown above, includes minced meat, pork slices, braised mushroom slices, dumpling and crispy dried sole fish served on a bowl of tossed noodles. A bowl of soup containing some fishballs is provided on the side.

The mee pok, tossed in a savory seasoning with some crispy pork lard, is firm and springy. It is topped with coriander leaves and a piece of dried sole fish that is crispy and savoury.

Both the minced meat and pork slices are soft and meaty. The braised mushroom slices are soft and flavourful. A piece of dumpling with a soft and meaty filling enclosed within a soft skin, is included with the tossed noodles as well.

A bowl of flavourful soup containing tiny meaty bits, lettuce and some fishballs is served togehter with the bowl of mee pok. The handmade fishballs are really soft and have pleasant fish flavours. It is good!
