Chicken Rendang

Anthony Indonesian Cuisine serves a handful of Indonesian style chicken dishes and some sides. This is their chicken rendang set which comes with a fried egg. The begedil is an extra.

The chicken rendang has soft and moist chicken meat with nice rendang flavours. Its skin is soft and flavourful too. The rendang sauce is mildly spicy with very nice and rich flavours.I can quite distinctly taste coconut milk used in it. They are generous with the rendang sauce with extras added onto the plate of white rice. Absolutely tasty!

The fried egg has nice lightly crispy sides. As for the begedil, both the potato filling and egg coating are very nicely flavoured. Recommended add on.

The portions here are pretty good and the flavours are very nice. It is one truly hearty and enjoyable meal. What’s there not to like about it? Big thumbs up.
