Wanton Mee.

Hock Thye Noodles serves traditional old school style wanton mee with lean char siew slices on a plate of noodles, along with a small bowl of wanton soup.

The char siew is firm and meaty, with a subtle hint of smokiness. The wanton has soft skin wrapping a soft, meaty and flavourful filling, and is served in a small bowl of nice savoury flavoured soup. Both the regular noodles and spinach noodles are firm and springy, with the spinach noodles having a slightly mushy texture when chewed. The noodles has decent seasoning flavours and comes with some vegetables, crispy pork lard and an optional side of chopped green chilli and dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste.

All in all, both wanton mee options taste decent.
