Japanese Matcha

Hoshino Coffee serves a variety of japanese matcha.

Matcha

This cup of matcha has nice intense flavours and with lovely bitter aftertaste. Thumbs up.

Matcha Latte

Nice intense matcha flavours, milky with a sweet and bitter aftertaste that feels somewhat like your first love. Lovely.

Ice Matcha Latte with Hokkaido Adzuki Matcha Ice Cream

This ice matcha latte has intense matcha flavours with a nice bitterly aftertaste. Comes with a sweet tasting matcha flavoured ice cream and red beans. Very nice. This is a seasonal drink, recommended that you get it while it is available.

Drinks

A nice selection of drinks are available.

Sparkling Yuzu

Nice yuzu flavours in a lightly sparkling soda that is topped with a piece of mint. It is a refreshing drink and not too sweet. Like.

Mains

An assortment of mains are available.

Pancake, Souffle Omelette, Angus Beef

This pancake, souffle omelette, angus beef combo is part of their brunch menu. The beef is juicy with nice flavourings and the fatty parts are really nice. The seasoning sauce has a lightly sweet taste and tastes really nice with the beef. The souffle omelette is smooth and soft with a dollop of ketchup. As for the pancakes, they tastes more like cake and isn’t soft and fluffy enough. Comes topped with fresh cream and served with maple syrup. The hash brown bits are crispy outside and soft inside. As for the salad, it is crunchy and moist. This is a rather nice brunch set.

Sandwiches

Japanese style sandwiches are available too.

Chicken Cutlet Sandwich

This chicken cutlet sandwich has a thick stab of crispy and juicy chicken cutlet that is sandwiched in between toasted sliced bread, spread with butter and honey mustard. Tastes nice. It is likeable.

Chicken Karaage Sandwich Hokkaido Style

This is a seasonal item. The chicken karaage is crispy outside and juicy inside with nice flavours, and sandwiched in a soft bun with honey mustard salad dressing. Tastes nice. Comes served with crunchy and juicy salad, as well as nice crispy fries on the sides with a dollop of ketchup. I like it.

Desserts

Hoshino Coffee serves a very nice selection of desserts.

Strawberry French Toast

This french toast is soft and isn’t airy and fluffy. Just a light crisp at the crust. Comes topped with fresh cream and strawberries. The strawberries are unfortunately sour. The french toast tastes quite nice with the honey syrup served on the side. Decent.

Hokkaido Rare Cheese Cake

This cheese cake is soft with nice cheesy and mildly sweet flavours. Unfortunately its base is soft and isn’t crispy and crunchy. Tastes decent though.

Hokkaido Fuwa-Toro Burnt Cheesecake

This is a seasonal item. The Hokkaido fuwa-toro burnt cheesecake has a soft and creamy sponge cake inside, and topped with melty chewy cheese on top. It is served with fine powered sugar sprinkled on the sides, giving this a nice sweet flavour. This is good. Highly recommended.
