Fishball & Minced Meat Noodles

The mee pok comes with minced meat, sliced pork, fishballs and fish cake slices. The bowl of teochow fishball soup is an extra add-on.

Both the minced meat and sliced pork are soft and meaty. The fishball is smooth and springy. Likewise for the fish cake, smooth and springy with nice fish flavours. The teochew fishball is soft and flavourful with tiny bits of chopped chilli and chopped spring onions in its flavourful fish paste. The mee pok is quite smooth and flavourful, and the soup is nicely flavoured.

This serving of mee pok is rather nice.

Meatball Noodles

The mee kia is fim and springy with nice seasoning flavours and comes with some pork lard. The decently flavoured meatball is firm and springy, and contains some tiny mushroom bits. These are served in a bowl of nicely flavoured soup. Decent.

Chicken Cutlet Noodles

The chicken cutlet has a crispy batter coating its moist and meaty meat. It is decently flavourful with a mild note of savouriness. The mee pok is quite smooth, is firm and springy, and has nice seasoning flavours. Comes with a bowl of nicely flavoured soup. Not bad.

Laksa

The star here is probably their laksa. Above is their laksa with yellow noodles chosen. The tau kee is an extra add-on.

The laksa comes with decent sized see hum that tastes decent, slices of smooth and springy fish cake, as well as pieces of tau pok soaking up the flavours of laksa gravy. The tau kee is fairly crispy outside, firm and chewy inside with a light savoury taste. The yellow noodles is firm and springy, and comes with some bean sprouts. As for the laksa gravy, it is very flavourful with strong coconut milk flavours and a mild spicy tint.

This bowl of laksa is tasty and is really likeable. Thumbs up.
