Fishball Noodles

Hua Fa Fish Noodle serves fishball noodles with the usual choice of noodles. Shown here is their mee pok.

The mee pok noodles is tossed with bean sprouts and topped with chopped spring onions, fried shallots and lard. It is smooth and springy but with a very mild alkaline taste.

This bowl of noodles comes served with a bowl of savoury tasting soup containing fishballs, fish cake slices, fish dumplings, pork slices and minced pork. The fishball and fish cake are soft and slightly springy. The fish dumpling is rather smooth with meaty filling. The pork slices and minced pork are quite regular though.

Overall, this mee pok is quite likeable.
