Wanton Mee

Koon Kee Wanton Noodle is a pioneer wanton mee stall originating from Kuala Lumpur. Their wanton mee comes with slices of char siew served on a plate of tossed noodles, accompanied with a bowl of wanto soup on the side.

The char siew slices are mostly fatty, with some tender meaty parts. They are remarkably soft and have a nice sweet flavour. The noodles is firm and springy, and tossed in a black sauce seasoning that adds a subtle savoury taste. An optional chilli paste with strong infused flavours of dried shrimps can be added, along with chopped spring onions.

The wanton has soft skin wrapping a soft, meaty and flavourful filling. Its soup has rich flavours of shrimp roe. It is tasty!

This serving of wanton mee tastes deliciously good! Recommended!
