Cai Png

Lady Boss Mixed Veg Rice offers a nice selection of mains and sides for their cai png. Above is with sweet sour pork, fried chicken, steamed egg and stir fried bean sprouts served with rice and curry.

The sweet sour pork is firm and meaty with decent flavours. There are some mildly crispy parts but its batter is mostly soft. The fried chicken is meaty and quite flavourful. Just like the sweet sour pork, its lightly coated batter is mostly soft with small pockets of crispiness. Its skin is crispy and flavourful though. The steamed egg is rather smooth and has a light savoury taste. The stir fried bean sprouts is moist and crunchy with savoury flavours. Contains some carrot shreds and spring onions. As for the curry, it has decent flavours with mild notes of spiciness.

This serving of cai png tastes decent.
