Nasi Padang

Padang Padang serves an array of mains, sides and curries for their nasi padang. Featured above are a serving of beef rendang, achar and begedil with rice, curry and chilli sauce.

The beef rendang is soft, tender and meaty with a rich blend of spices. Its sauce is flavourful with mild notes of spiciness and sweetness. The achar consists of crunchy pieces of cucumber, pineapple and carrot with a refreshing limey taste. The begedil has a soft potato filling, but unfortunately its egg coating is no longer crispy, but it is still rather decent.

The rice is a bit on the softer side, and has some curry sauce is added. The curry sauce is quite flavourful with a light tint of spiciness. An optional chilli sauce is provided on the side, and its flavours mixes well with the various sauces.

Overall, this serving of nasi padang is likeable.
