Nan Heng Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice serves hainanese chicken and roast chicken rice.
Both the hainanese chicken and roast chicken are nicely deboned with moist and meaty flesh. The hainanese chicken has nice smooth skin and the roast chicken is rather flavourful.
The rice is fairly firm with decent flavours. The bowl of soup served on the side is nicely flavoured as well. The chilli sauce is limey with a slightly sweet taste. The chicken rice comes served with some slices of cucumber and tomato. This is a decent serving of chicken rice.
Char Siew & Siu Yuk Rice
Besides chicken rice, char siew and siu yuk is available here as well. The rice provided is the same flavoured chicken rice. The char siew is the lean meat type with a slightly sweet taste and some sweet sauce is added to it. The siu yuk is meaty with savoury tastes, however it is not crispy. This char siew and siu yuk is quite ordinary, but still fairly decent.
