Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ah Keat Chicken Rice does hainanese chicken rice. Seen here is their drumstick rice.

The hainanese chicken drumstick has soft, tender and smooth meat with nice soft and smooth skin. However it is not deboned and there are some tiny bits of bones, which is rather irritating.

Instead of cucumber slices, some crunchy bean sprouts is served with the firm and flavourful rice. A bowl of nice savoury tasting soup containing carrot slices and chopped spring onions is served on the side, with a saucer of limey and garlicky chilli sauce.

This plate of chicken rice is decently nice. Would have been enjoyable if not for the tiny bits of bones.
