Wanton Noodles

This is Teck Kee Special, which is their wanton noodles with soya sauce chicken. The fried wanton is an extra add on.

The noodles are not exactly springy but not too soft either, with a wet black sauce seasoning. Tastes ordinary and a bit bland. The noodles are topped with lean mean char siew slices with a sweet taste. Also comes with a few pieces of normal tasting soya sauce chicken meat.

With the plate of noodles is a small bowl of wanton soup on the side. The wanton dumplings are just standard fare, decently juicy meat filling with a nicely flavoured soup.

Fried wanton dumplings with the noodles are an extra add on. It haas a nice crispy and fluffy texture, but unfortunately there is quite a strong alkaline taste from its wanton wrappers.

This plate of noodles is just borderline likeable.
