Fish Soup

Teochew Fish Porridge Da Pai Dang dishes out a variety of fish soups with a choice of noodles, mee hoon and rice. Seen here is their double fish soup with thick mee hoon. This fish soup comes with sliced fish, fried fish nuggets with some vegetables and added fried egg.

The sliced fish is quite smooth and the fried fish nugget has nice savoury flavours but soft and not crispy. The fried egg bits are still slightly crispy though. Comes with a small saucer of dipping sauce containing some chopped chilli. It has nice savoury garlicky flavours with a bit of spiciness and goes really well with the fried fish. Flavourings for this fish soup is quite nice and I like it.
