Fried Carrot Cake

Song Zhou Fried Carrot Cake does fried carrot cake in the usual white and black versions, and with the option of adding prawns. The white version of fried carrot cake shown here has prawns added.

This fried carrot cake uses small cubes of radish cake and is pan fried with mild charring and pockets of crispy bits. There is a nice smokey taste of wok hei too. The added chye poh makes this fried carrot cake tastes even more flavourful. The black version has sweet black sauce added giving it a lightly sweet taste. Even with the sweet sauce added, you can still tastes its wok hei. It is good!
