Fried Carrot Cake

Wang Bu Liao Carrot Cake is run by one of the owners of Bukit Merah View Carrot Cake. This fried carrot cake uses self-made radish cakes available in the usual black and white versions.

The fried carrot cake uses soft radish cake cubes which are pan fried with crispy outsides. Both the black and white versions have pockets of crispiness with some nicely charred bits of radish cubes. The black version has extra sweet black sauce added, giving it a sweet taste and some chewiness from the crispy bits. Only downside, not enough chye poh. However, both are nice in their own ways and I like both of them. Thumbs up.
