Signature Lor Mee

Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee is a decades-old stall dishing out lor mee. Their signature lor mee comes with braised pork, fried fish and braised egg with thick yellow noodles and some bean sprouts in a flavourful braised sauce.

The braised pork is meaty and has some soft fatty parts. It has nice braised flavours. The fried cod fish (fried fish was sold out at time of visit) has a light fried batter that is slightly crispy. It is meaty and has nice flavours. The braised egg has nice braised flavours as well. The braised sauce is flavourful with a mild tint of sweet. It is fairly thick and starchy. Comes topped with an optional dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste, minced garlic, coriander leaves and vinegar.

This serving of their signature lor mee is nice and has rather likeable flavours.
