Swee Kee Wanton Noodles Laksa

is a stall selling both wanton mee and laksa. Decent but quite ordinary.

Wanton Mee

This is just your regular wanton mee that comes with a plate of char siew noodles and a small bowl of wanton soup.

Lean meat char siew slices are used here on a plate of noodles with some vegetables added. The char siew is meaty and no sweet flavours. The noodles are quite springy and uses a seasoning of black sauce and sesame oil, giving it a very mild sweet taste.

The wanton noodles comes served with a small bowl of savoury tasting wanton soup on the side. The wanton has soft skin wrapper with nicely flavoured meat filling inside. Fairly nice.

This plate of wanton noodles is fairly decent but quite ordinary. Still likeable though.

Laksa

This bowl of laksa comes with the usual see hum, fish cake slices and tau pok with thick mee hoon and bean sprouts. The gravy tastes quite nice. It is mildly spicy with a very light sweet taste of dried shrimps. The fish cake is quite soft, the tau pok is nicely soaked with flavours of the laksa gravy and the portions of see hum is decent. This bowl of laksa is rather likeable.
