Fried Hokkien Mee

Nam Sing Hokkien Fried Mee is an old time stall that has been selling fried hokkien mee since 1960. It is a very popular stall with a constant stream of customers.

This fried hokkien mee has a balanced mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon stir fried with some bean sprouts and eggs, and simmered with an added broth. This results in a fried hokkien mee that is moist with nice decent flavours. Contains the usual prawns and sotong slices. No lard as far as I can tell. No chilli paste either. It is served with a saucer of chopped chillies and soya sauce with a piece of green lime. Quite likeable.
