Char Siew, Siu Yuk, Roast Duck

Charcoal Master Roasted Delight offers the usual selection of siu mei roasted meats. Above is their trio rice which comes with char siew, siu yuk and roast duck served with rice and soup.

Fatty char siew and siu yuk are requested for this. The char siew is soft and sweet, and the fatty parts are nice. The siu yuk is soft and meaty with a savoury taste and a very crispy skin. The roast duck has moist tender meat and a decently flavourful skin. Personally, I find the char siew very likeable and the siu yuk is good.

For the rice, you can also choose between plain white rice and flavoured chicken rice. Flavoured chicken rice is chosen for this. The rice is firm and fairly flavourful. There is also an option to have a sweet tasting braised sauce added to the rice. A bowl of flavourful vegetables soup is provided on the side, and also a mildly sweet tasting dried shrimped flavoured chilli paste.

This plate of char siew, siu yuk and roast duck rice is nice. I like it!

Wanton Mee

Noodles is available here as well. Above is their wanton mee.

The slices of char siew is soft and sweet. The wanton has soft skin with a soft meaty and flavourful filling. As for the tossed noodles, it is firm and springy and tossed with some crispy pork lard in a flavourful soya sauce based seasoning. Some vegetables are included.

This plate of wanton mee is very likeable too.
