Fried Hokkien Mee

Hilltop Fried Hokkien Mee dishes out wet type of fried hokkien mee that is soaking in a broth. The mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon are wok fried with egg and simmered in a broth. Prawns and pork belly slices are added to it.

The prawn is quite large and tastes rather fresh. The pork belly is meaty with some soft fatty parts. The yellow noodles and mee hoon is firm and springy and has a nice taste smokey wok hei. The broth, too, has smokey wok hei flavours. However it is a little bland, but mixing it with the limey and spicy tasting chilli paste more or less resovles it.

The fried hokkien mee comes served with a piece of green lime on the side, and is topped with some crispy pork lard. Decent.
