Hainanese & Roast Chicken Rice

Sin Heng Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice serves hainanese chicken and roast chicken rice.

The hainanese chicken has moist and tender meat. Its skin is very smooth and soft. It is good. The roast chicken has moist and smooth meat with nice savoury flavours. Comes served on a plate of firm and flavourful rice. A bowl nicely flavoured vegetables soup is provided on the side. An optional garlicky chilli sauce is available as well.

Do take note that the chicken is not deboned. However it is still an absolutely hearty and enjoyable plate of chicken rice. I like it!

Char Siew & Siu Yuk Rice

Char siew and siu yuk rice is available as well. These are the lean meat type. Although lean, the char siew is soft and tender with a nice sweet meaty taste. The roast pork is soft and meaty as well with a thin layer of fats underneath its crispy skin. Both are nice.

You can choose between white rice or flavoured chicken rice to go with the char siew and siu yuk. The rice comes topped with a sweet seasoning sauce. An optional dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste can be added, and a bowl of vegetables flavoured soup is served on the side.

This char siew and siu yuk rice comes with hearty servings and is rather likeable.
