Review: Soon Heng Lor Mee (Singapore)
Soon Heng Lor Mee is quite a tasty Lor Mee with good mixture of ingredients. It uses the thicker type of yellow noodles instead of the usual round type. There are the usual fish cake slices and fish Ngo Hiang slices with this dish. The surprise is, there are a few slices of fat pork belly included, which is not commonly found anymore. Crispy bits of fried flour is also included, giving this a nice contrast in texture of soft noodles with some pockets of crispiness. Optional ginger garlic paste, chilli sauce and vinegar can be added onto its gravy for some extra flavouring according to your liking.
