Hainanese Chicken & Roast Chicken

Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice provides a choice of hainanese chicken and roast chicken served with rice and soup.

The hainanese chicken is moist and meaty with a rather smooth skin attached. The roast chicken is moist and meaty too, with a flavourful skin. The slices of chicken meat comes with bones attached and are not deboned. They are served on a plate with a slightly sweet-tasting soya sauce seasoning and some cucumber slices.

The plate of rice has a soft texture and is quite flavourful. An optional garlicky chilli sauce and a black sweet sauce are provided on the side.

Overall this serving of chicken rice tastes decent.
