Satay

Maxwell Satay offers a selection of chicken, pork, mutton and beef satay. Above is a selection of all 4 choices of meats with a firm and decently flavoured ketupat added. Some cucumber slices and cut onion bits are served alongside the satay, and a bowl of satay sauce is provided on the side.

The chicken satay has soft and moist meat with a slightly sweet taste and a mild note of smokiness. Nice. The pork satay is firm and meaty with a slightly crispy piece of fatty pork sandwiched in between. It has a slightly sweet taste too. The sweet tasting mutton satay is firm and meaty with a slightly gamey taste. The beef satay is fairly tender and meaty with a light note of sweet. As for the satay sauce, it has nice nutty flavours with a very mild tint of spiciness.

Although the skewers of meat is inconsistant in size with some satay having smaller meat portions, it is fairly decent tasting. Its chicken satay with a tint of smokiness is rather nice.
