Soya Sauce Chicken & Hainanese Chicken

Yuan Li Hai serves soya sauce chicken and hainanese chicken with choice of rice or noodles.

The soya sauce chicken is moist and meaty. Its skin is smooth and has nice flavours of soya sauce seasoning. The hainanese chicken is moist and meaty as well, with smooth chicken skin. Both are not deboned though. The chicken are served on a plate with some cucumber slices and soya sauce seasoning. As for the rice, it has a light fragrant scent and is rather flavourful.

Both types of chicken are rather decent.

Wanton Mee

Besides soya sauce chicken and hainanese chicken, char siew is available as well. Seen above is their wanton mee.

The char siew is mostly lean. It is soft and meaty with a sweet taste. The tossed noodles is a bit soft but still springy. It is flavoured with a soya sauce seasoning and comes with some vegetables. Comes with an optional dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste. As for the wanton, it has soft skin with a nicely seasoned soft meat filling. Its soup is nicely flavoured with a hint of ikan bilis.

This serving of wanton mee is rather decent too.
