The hainanese chicken is moist and meaty with a smooth and springy skin. The roast chicken is moist and meaty with a mildly crispy skin. Both chicken options are deboned and served on a plate of firm, fluffy and flavourful rice with soya sauce seasoning added. A side of minced ginger and chopped spring onions, and a few cucumber slices are served on the side. Also served alongside are a bowl of nicely flavoured vegetables soup and an optional chilli sauce with light limey and garlicky notes.

Overall this serving of hainanese chicken and roast chicken rice tastes decent.

Char Siew & Siu Yuk.

The char siew is firm and meaty with both mild sweet and mild savoury flavours. The siu yuk is firm meaty and savoury with a crispy skin. Both meat options have some fatty parts but they are rather springy and isn’t soft. The slices of meat are served on a plate of firm white rice with sweet braised sauce added. It tastes decent too.
