Wanton Mee.

Le Wanton Mee Ipoh Hor Fun serves wanton mee with 3 noodle options: regular noodles, spinach noodles and sweet potato noodles.

All 3 noodle options are firm and springy with nice seasoning flavours, and comes with a small serving of vegetables. However, both spinach noodles and sweet potato noodles has a somewhat mushy texty after chewing. Personally I prefer the texture of the regular noodles.

The wanton mee comes with slices of char siew, and both soup wanton and fried wanton. The pleasantly sweet-tasting char chew is tender and meaty with some soft fatty parts. Both wanton have a nice savoury meaty filling, with the soup wanton having a soft skin while the fried version having a lovely crispy skin.

The bowl of soup is lightly flavoured with a subtle note of ikan bilis flavours. You can add your own fried shallots, pork lard, chopped spring onions and a dried shrimp and savoury flavoured chilli paste, according to your own preferences.

Overall, the wanton mee taste nice, especially the fried wanton. Extras are recommended.

Chicken Cutlet Noodles.

The chicken cutlet is moist and tender, with a crispy breaded crust and skin. It has a nice savoury taste. The noodles are firm and springy with nice seasoning flavours, and a bowl of lightly flavoured soup is provided on the side.

This serving of chicken cutlet noodles is not bad either.

Ipoh Hor Fun.

The ipoh hor fun features firm and meaty shredded chicken meat, soft flavourful braised mushrooms, and a rather smooth serving of hor fun. A mildly sweet tasting braised sauce is added to it.

The ipoh hor fun is a decent option too.
