Wanton Mee

R&D Wanton Mee dishes out black sauce type of wanton noodles. It comes with a plate of noodles with char siew slices on top and a bowl of wanton soup. The noodles has a springy texture, which is good. On its own, it has a strong alkaline taste. The black sauce seasoning has a slightly sweet taste to it, and helps to cover up the alkaline taste in the noodles. The char siew slices provided are just average tasting lean meat char siew. The wanton soup is nice though. It has a pleasant ikan bilis taste and the wantons are nicely flavoured and soft. This wanton mee is just fairly likeable.
