Char Siew, Siu Yuk, Roast Duck & Roast Sausage

Shun Feng Roasted Delight serves the usual selection of siu mei roasted meats – char siew, siu yuk, roast duck and roast sausage. Above is their four treasures rice which comes with all of their roasted meats.

The char siew is soft and meaty with nice sweet flavours. The sticky and slightly crispy caramelised parts are really nice! It is good! The siu yuk is soft and meaty with some fatty parts underneath its crispy skin. It has nice savoury flavours. The siu yuk is good too. The roast duck has tender and moist meat with a flavourful skin that is slightly crispy. It is nice. As for the roast sausage, it has a firm texture and sweet flavours. Its skin is slightly crispy. It tastes nice too.

The slices of roasted meats comes served on a plate of plain white rice. The rice has a slightly sweet tasting braised sauce added. A bowl of dang gui flavoured soup is provided on the side. An optional dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste is also available.

All four selections of roasted meats are really nice! Truly enjoyable.

Wanton Mee

Noodles is available as well. Above is their wanton mee which comes with slices of char siew topped on a plate of tossed noodles and a bowl of wanton soup on the side.

The tossed noodles is firm and springy, and has decent flavours. It comes with some vegetables. The char siew is soft and meaty with a nice sweet taste. The fatty and caramelised parts of the char siew is very nice! The wanton has soft skin and nicely flavoured meat filling. The soup is rather flavourful as well. An optional dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste can be included on the side.

This plate of wanton mee is nice. I like it.
