Wanton Mee

Soon Huat Wanton Noodle dishes out wanton mee with slices of lean meat char siew and served with a bowl of wanton soup on the side.

The slices of char siew are lean, meaty and a bit dry. The wanton has a soft skin wrapping a nice savoury flavoured meat filling. The soup has nice flavourings too. As for the noodles, it is decently springy and tossed using a slightly sweet seasoning sauce. Comes served with some vegetables.

Personally I prefer my char siew with some fatty parts and caramelised charred bits. This char siew is quite a letdown. Besides the char siew, this wanton mee is quiet decent.
