Popiah

Old Long House Popiah is a well known stall rolling out freshly made popiah since 1930.

According to the sign pasted on the glass counter of their stall, the popiah contains no peanuts, no pork and no lard. As far as I can tell, the popiah filling contains radish shreds, carrot shreds, bean sprouts, boiled egg bits and crispy sole fish bits. The moist and flavourful popiah filling is rolled up in a chewy popiah skin with a sweet sauce spread, giving it a tint of sweetness.

In my opinion, this popiah is kind of overrated but it is still quite likeable.
