Banana Leaf Nasi Lemak

is a popular stall serving nasi lemak with a selection of sides. Tastes rather decent.

Nasi Lemak

Banana Leaf Nasi Lemak serves nasi lemak with a selection of sides. Above is their nasi lemak set that comes with fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts. The hash brown and otah are extra add-ons.

The fried chicken wing has a nice savoury taste with a crispy batter and moist meat. The fried egg has a cooked yolk and crispy whites. The ikan bilis is crispy and the peanuts crunchy, with a slightly sweet taste. The hash brown is crispy outside and soft outside. The otah contains fish meat bits, is firm and mildly spicy. As for the rice, it is fairly fragrant with light flavours of coconut milk. A dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste is included on the side.

This plate of nasi lemak is a rather decent one.
