BBQ Chicken Wings

The BBQ chicken wings have quite crispy skin, and the meat can be a bit dry. They have decent flavours though. While green lime is not provided, a bottle of green lime juice is available for you to sprinkle some lime juice onto your bbq chicken wings. A garlicky and limey chili sauce is also provided.

Satay

The satay comes in a choice of chicken, pork, and mutton meats.

The chicken satay has quite nice flavours. Its meat is soft and tender, with a slightly sweet and smoky taste. The pork satay is also soft and tender, with a slightly sweet and smoky taste, and has a tiny piece of fat sandwiched in between the meat. The mutton satay is tender and not gamey, with a slightly sweet and smoky flavour as well. A bowl of satay sauce is provided on the side. The satay sauce contains fine peanut bits giving it a nice nutty flavour with mild sweet and spicy undertones. Not bad.

BBQ Boneless Chicken Thigh Rice

The BBQ boneless chicken thigh rice features savoury tasting chicken meat that is mostly tender and smooth, with some parts being a bit tough and dry. Its skin is crispy with nice smoky flavours. The accopanying rice is soft, with a bit too much moisture. A side of coleslaw, cherry tomato and cucumber are provided. The coleslaw is crunchy and tastes decent.

Fried Carrot Cake

The fried carrot cake comes in either white or black options. Both versions feature soft and springy radish cake cubes containing tiny slivers of carrot, pan fried with egg and chye poh, and topped with chopped spring onions.

The white version is pan fried flat style with an egg coating, however the egg coating is not crispy. The black version has sweet black sauce added, giving it a slightly sweet tone, however it is not crispy either.

Although both versions of fried carrot cake are not crispy, they are rather flavourful. Both are decent options.

Rojak

The rojak comes with a mixture of green apple, pear, pineapple and cucumber accompanied with pieces of you tiao and tau pok. These are tossed in a sweet tasting rojak sauce with grated peanuts and bean sprouts, resulting in a wet plate of rojak.

The green apple, pear and cucumber slices are juicy and crunchy. The pineapple slices are sweet and juicy, and the you tiao and tau pok pieces are quite crispy. Not bad.
