Egg Fried Rice

Jia Le Jia offers a selection of egg fried rice with choice of chicken cutlet, pork chop or shrimps.

The shrimp fried rice comes with decent size shrimps that tastes fairly fresh. The egg fried rice is rather fragrant and has a nice firm and dry texture. It is wok fried with slivers of eggs and chopped spring onions. Comes with an optional crunchy fried chilli oil that pairs well with the fried rice. Tastes rather flavourful and likeable.

Japanese Curry Rice

Japanese style curry rice is available as well. Above is their special curry rice which comes with a chicken cutlet, a fish cutlet and a breaded prawn.

The chicken cutlet has a nice crispy breaded crust with moist and meaty meat. Likewise, the fish cutlet has a nice crispy breaded crust with soft fish meat. The fried breaded prawn, too, has a nice crispy breaded crusy and soft prawn meat. All 3 are likeable.

These are served on a plate of firm texture rice with japanese style curry sauce and a side of crunchy salad with mayonnaise. The curry sauce has mild spicy flavours with a faint tint of sweetness, and comes with cubes of soft potato and soft carrot. A decently flavoured bowl of vegetables and seaweed soup is served on the side.

This plate of curry rice tastes rather nice and likeable.
