Review: Comecome Burger (Fukuoka, Japan)
Mentai Dashimaki Tamago
The mentai dashimaki tamago rice burger comes with a thick stab of dashimaki tamago sandwiched in between 2 slices of fairly firm rice patties. Comes with a dash of mentaiko, mayonnaise, green onions and seaweed boiled in soy sauce. The tamago is soft and rather smooth. Quite likeable.
Aji Furai
The aji furai rice burger has a piece of deep fried horse mackerel sandwiched in between 2 slices of rice patties. The breaded crust is airy and crispy, and the fish meat is soft. It is glazed with a tonkatsu sauce. A dollop of house-made tartar sauce, some lettuce and crispy plum completes it. This aji furai rice burger tastes nice. I like it.
Miso Soup
This bowl of miso soup contains plentiful of chopped mixed vegetables. Nice savoury flavours of miso.
